I remember when the right was busy arguing over whether torture was ok or not and justifying wars of aggression.
Now they're talking about deporting US citizens, building concentration camps, and euthanizing the homeless.

The left used to talk about giving everyone health insurance, now they talk about... making rent cheaper and medicare for all..

But sure, yea, it's the left that has gone too far.

The head of the FCC is on record on a podcast saying how the FCC will essentially dismantle the network if Kimmel doesn't face retribution

Just because you are utterly clueless about most things doesn't mean they're not happening

I'm sure the increased ICE raids, dismantling of Dept of Ed, USAID, etc. also isn't happening right now, trump didn't do it 9 years ago so why would it happen now!

Makes me worry that some people will now be able to justify the murder of ANY person who associate themselves with an opposing ideology or ever said something opposing to what someone else considers the morally superior ideology.

Whatever Charlie Kirk stood for that was hateful towards others, now got amplified and justified.

It's just not good news all around.

But you are right, I probably don't know enough.

I think I can say though that this is really not going to put an end to the rhetoric that some find offensive.

I fear it's going to influence the political actions of extremists in my own country.
