The thing is that this is as good as it's going to get. It's only going to get worse by the day... and if you head to any conservative social media they are all practically deep throating each other with joy over each new step towards authoritarianism

the far left has brought this onto themselves, and deservedly so.

You must not know the things he said and stood for, otherwise you would feel differently.

I don't think he deserved to be gunned down like that and I think anyone celebrating that is really far gone.

He didn't deserve it, but it's funny it happened because he willingly allowed it to happen.

I just think it is unwise to celebrate political assassination.

Makes me worry that some people will now be able to justify the murder of ANY person who associate themselves with an opposing ideology or ever said something opposing to what someone else considers the morally superior ideology.

Whatever Charlie Kirk stood for that was hateful towards others, now got amplified and justified.

It's just not good news all around.

But you are right, I probably don't know enough.

I think I can say though that this is really not going to put an end to the rhetoric that some find offensive.

I fear it's going to influence the political actions of extremists in my own country.

I remember when the right was busy arguing over whether torture was ok or not and justifying wars of aggression.
Now they're talking about deporting US citizens, building concentration camps, and euthanizing the homeless.

The left used to talk about giving everyone health insurance, now they talk about... making rent cheaper and medicare for all..

But sure, yea, it's the left that has gone too far. :whatever:

That cartoon is laughable. What is so far left? It’s not like any real left wing policy has passed in going on 35 years outside of maybe gay marriage. Just because you’re afraid doesn’t mean anything got further left. Keep playing make believe with dumb cartoons though.

Also, “you deserve the authoritarianism” is exactly what a right winger would say.

Trump should release the Epstein files. Stop letting him distract you with fascism.

Jimmy Kimmel got suspended due to pressure from the trump admin

This type of wacky silliness is one reason Trump won a second term.

Why didn't the Trump admin pressure ABC to do this 9 years ago?

The Democrats beating the "authoritarianism" drum are hilarious.

The truth hurt so bad the anti cancel culture right cancelled Kimmel.

Say that five times fast.

The head of the FCC is on record on a podcast saying how the FCC will essentially dismantle the network if Kimmel doesn't face retribution

Just because you are utterly clueless about most things doesn't mean they're not happening

I'm sure the increased ICE raids, dismantling of Dept of Ed, USAID, etc. also isn't happening right now, trump didn't do it 9 years ago so why would it happen now!

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr says

"This action today by Nexstar and Sinclair, frankly, it is unprecedented. I can’t imagine another time when we’ve had local broadcasters tell a national programmer like Disney that your content no longer meets the needs and the values of our community."

It seems the Republicans actually agree that people like Alex Jones should get fucked for saying mean things about dead people.

You right wingers are so confusing. What are you more concerned about your free speech or your guns? You can have one or the other but if you have both this is what happens. Use your damn heads

The court punished Alex Jones with a $965 million fine for what he said.

I wonder how many $$$ millions lefties will have to pay to Charlie's family.

Alex still has a job and a platform to spread his conspiracy theories. His free speech is well in-tact.

Have you seen Charlie Kirk watching the South Park episode that mocked him?

Charlie thought it was absolutely hilarious and couldn't stop laughing.

Alex Jones' free speech came with a punishment of $965 million.

How many hundreds of millions $ will Charlies family be awarded?
