NI BATTERY

i got Native Instrument's Battery as Ive seen suggested in this forum... but i cant fucking figure the damn thing out... i havent tried too hard, but i clicked around every knob and button. can someone at least just give me the basic jist of this sampler? please?

There should be a button on the right that says File, if you have one of the drum kits click file>load kit or something close to that. It's been a while since i've used it but it should be something like that. If you don't have a kit, click on file>load cell and you should be able to put whatever sample in the cell that you have high lighted

yea, i got that far, but then what? how do you do anything else with it? i dont even see an export or render option. how do you sequence and arrange the kit samples to make the beats?

Oh, you're using cubase right? I'm not sure how to work with that, but with fruity loops you just open up the piano roll and the drums will be just like the notes on a synthesizer. You'ld just find the bass drum and snare notes, and put the thing on it.

It is just a vst, you need a controller or SW that controls it.

FL, Cubase...
You can go to http://www.kvr-vst.com/ also and download more kits.

Battery fuckin rocks, and you can make your own kit of personal samples, no matter if they are from a drum kit or not!
