I rarely hug.  It usually feels like a cheesey handshake that spawns gooey emotions that make me feel somewhat nauseous and uncomfortable.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

aww, im sorry. do what fits you...you know...to each there own.

im the type of person that usually holds my feelings to myself. i realize that this is not the best way to deal with emotions, but its cool, i usually know my faults. anyway, when i hug my father i usually end up tearing up. i cant help it, i just melt.

does anyone else tear up when they listen to a great song? or when they see great art? or when they read a great poem? you know, stuff like that.

I used to dislike bodily contact, when I was younger. It made me feel uncomfortable. Still does, actually. But it seems so anti-social to feel that way!

So you know what I do? I hug everyone now! Yep! I have even, on occasion, hugged my 74-year old Korean client, who usually bows to me and shakes my hand. He's so funny when I hug him. He goes rigid and laughs afterwards, like I did something really funny, as if a comedy skit or something.

But hugs are good, even if awkward. Come on, hugs all around!
