Great vid.  Takes someone from out the U.S. to really, yeah, I get it.  No one will have finances to produce woke garbage soon in Colleges, video games, movies, environment etc., and endless misery for paid for entertainment as people aren't paying for that bullshit anymore.

I get how pissed off he is with it.  Just glad I got to live during the golden era in this world.

Generally speaking, if you only watched 3-5 movies a year and were selective about what you watched, you probably wouldn't stay up at night worrying about media content which was literally designed to rage bait you into promoting it. :shrug:

I think it's good Ole capitalism you're seeing as far as Netflix and woke goes. Its all about  demographics they're trying to appeal to.

If there's a movie with a gay couple when done right and treated like a normal couple that doesnt talk about being gay every second of their life and just be normal people, I'm fully on board rooting for their relationship like any other relationship.

So retained my viewership and made others feel represented and watched it also makes them money.
Capitalism.

It's not some insidious campaign to turn the youth and population gay or trans purely trying to appeal to a bigger audience.

The silent/moral majority is none of those things and Netflix's big problem is not "wokeness". It's that their competitors are content producers with vast libraries of content, while Netflix is primarily a content reseller and produces limited original content, and a lot of the content they might like to license is owned by their streaming competitors.

Doesn't help that they are now nickel and diming paying customers over account sharing. Focus on making good content. For every popular well-made show that was not canceled prematurely (Stranger Things) there's a good show that was canceled prematurely (Dark Crystal) and several garbage shows they did keep making.

As a new Disney + subscriber, I can say there's plenty of regular entertainment to go along with the company line PR queer shit

Remember now how vehemently racist and bigoted ole Walt was, so you need not worry, good old fashioned quality disney entertainment is still there

I bought a CRT TV recently, one of those little 5" B+W ones. I have a HDMI to composite adapter and I'm waiting on a 1/8" to RCA adapter so I can hook up the Chromecast to it and watch Netflix on it.
