A cool velvet wood fungus growing on coconut bark
    #2810105 - 06/20/04 01:39 AM (12 years, 5 months ago)

The kids who were with me when I found the giant cube found this interesting fungus. They also tried to knock a large chunck of honeycone with fresh bees out of a tree. We all ran. Here are two images of the top and bottom of this strange bracket fungus with a small tree starting to grow through its center.

did you go back later and get the hive after the bees abandoned it? or did you never even knock it down... bee hive = pure honey

LOL mj, you're going crazy in Asia. First the back thing, then the burn, now bees. That'd be the last thing you need is a ton of bee stings. Next thing you know you'll be finding cobras(I know you've done that before).
