Less people would probably be anti-vax if it wasn't for the rampant corruption in government and in the corporations who develop these vaccines. I mean we're not talking about trusted sources here. We're talking about governments and corporations with a long history of doing fucked up shit and getting away with it.

Many antivaxxers on here have no problems shoving mystery powders created by truly evil drug syndicates or sketchy unregulated labs into their noses and veins. Many more have no problems taking Tylenol or aspirin when they get some pain, or accepting some big pharma sedation before a surgery

You don't become antivax through rational, logical thinking. Sure big pharma is corrupt and kills people and causes harm, they're also awesome and save countless lives and very well may save your life some day. The world is a big confusing place

Touche. That said I have a legit phobia of the medical and pharmaceutical industry and needles in general. Perhaps because of personal experiences me and my family have had with such industries. And you may have a point, I have less fear for taking illegal and or research chemicals / drugs than taking a vaccine. I legit never go to the doctor or the dentist. As every time I have in the past it seems they actually have made things worse for me or just wasted my time.

Your Obamacare doctor probably sources your scrip from the same illicit labs and sells some on the side, afaic. I could tell you the very spot, except it was fenced off from homeless, recently. Yes literally.

Reservoir across the street from the highschool.Some dealers in scrubs. I anticipate them in other greenspaces. :awesomenod:

Until you eventually get sick or injured and have to actually face the real world, and you beg like a little girl for the doctor to do whatever he can to save you. I've worked at hospitals that get brave souls like you through the doors multiple times an hour, ignorance is only bliss until it isn't.

I studied, attained national honors, and accompanied an immune compromised person to a facility, with negative air pressure, where people exposed to Ebola would have been quarantined, and an astringent was pumped through the air vents.

Tenured academics and corporatists are kept completely separate from demographic replacements doing hands-on dirtywork, who had to be told how to apply for public benefits and how to run simple machines. (Instructions are on the side.)

I used to say, don't take me there, unless it was for triage.

That was before, before I experienced a strange reaction to an OTC med. I brought the box with me, retraced my steps for the doctors and nurses, and was prescribed a generic for the same.

If such a thing existed, I would sooner put my life in the hands of a responsible citizen scientist or a savage with an effective remedy. Guilds could exist without any misanthropic conditioning that says we are all vermin.
