Those people need to get over it or whatever. We're not gonna pretend long covid is a real thing after what we were put through with this horseshit during the pandemic. Everyone is tired all the time and feels like shit and has headaches that's called life you mopy bastards.

There’s a dude who lives on my block who rides a Segway up and down the street and I saw him inside the grocery store riding it around so I finally asked him what was up with it. He said he has chronic Lyme and it’s hard for him to get around. I’m skeptical. Chronic Lyme is the new fibromyalgia. I’ve had Lyme practically every other year for a decade and I don’t need a fucking Segway. I just finished a course of doxycycline a month ago and my intestines are finally getting back to normal.

Just a guess but it could be effecting people differently.  Maybe there’s something about you making your system more resilient maybe?  :shrug:  idk…l I always thought Lyme was one of those wonky ones.  I’ve seen 1 person suffering from it, and I mean suffering for what seemed like a couple of years…idk what’s up with that either.

I talking about Lyme with a recent hookup as the doxycycline was causing poopy problems that made butt stuff inappropriate at the time (more than 14 days ago, so not a qualifying hookup for the MPX vaccine) and he said it totally fucked up his knees for a year. I think you have to really let it go a long time for it to cause long term problems.

In my perception, Covax did not sidestep human testing. Project Warp Speed was a test. I don't understand why you trust people, who draw no moral distinction between human life and lab animals, and who experiment inhumanely upon lab animals.

False. A death certificate lists the actual cause of death then the factors that contributed to that death. Yes the last condition listed is the underlying cause without which the patient would not have died. Covid caused pneumonia which lead to respiratory distress. The respiratory distress is the acute event or condition that resulted in death. Listing covid alone doesn’t explain how the covid resulted in death. People with covid can die from blood clots, stroke, arrhythmia leading to cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, kidney failure, etc. Someone who has covid who dies outside a medical facility might have the immediate cause of death be “unknown” and the underlying cause be covid.

If someone is DOA from a car accident, they are not going to be tested for covid, so the underlying cause would be MVA and the immediate cause would be whatever the fatal injury is. If someone is hospitalized after an accident they would be tested and if they had covid, covid might be listed as a contributing factor if the covid was a factor in the death. Certainly there are times when two or more problems combined result in death when any single factor would have been survivable. Still the doctor has to use their judgement as to which factor was the most important.

Certainly mistakes, laziness or incompetence might lead to a death certificate that improperly indicates covid as the underlying cause of death, it’s very rare, but of course people will seize on those cases to claim the system is corrupt. Sometimes a doctor will intentionally not list a condition based on a patient or family request. This is most common with drug overdoses. (Or listing a suicide as an accidental death).

On the other hand, older people who die at home may not have known cause of death and probably wouldn’t get an autopsy unless it was suspicious. If these people were known to have symptoms matching covid, they might get categorized as a covid death. (A lot of people before the home tests who got really sick with covid never sought medical attention. They ended up dying at home without ever testing positive). Still there are a significant number of people who died this way without having covid listed on the death certificate
