Garden Pics and Q?'s
    #2787610 -

Here is a pic of the baby T. peruvianus and L. williamsii (all from seed).

There are a few sceletium tortuosum grown from seed as well, off to the left.  Occasionally, I will notice that the leaves feel limp, yet at other times, they are rigid and healthy feeling.  What is this from?  What can I do about it?

There are also a bunch of other Pedros from a trade a while back in the garden

I keep seeing visions of the baby loph, grafted onto one of the pedros, but don't think I can do it...  I thought they were all gone, they had all died, but he was found clinging to life in a window at the other house.  Hopefully one day I'll find some more seeds...

The Mimosa scabrella tree is now in the back yard (and appears to love it!) after becoming infested with fungus gnats! :frown:  It too was started from seed and Is just beautiful!  I hope it will acclimate to or at least tolerate this alien weather a bit better than it has.  --maybe I'll go take a pic of it..

Nice looking seedlings. How old are they? I started a few trays of T. Pachanoi, T. Peruvius and T. Bridgesii this year. They are all about 1/2" high at this time.

The Torch to the right is nearly 3" tall. They were all started about the same time, they haven't been entirely happy until about 4 or 5 mos ago. They are about 2 years old now.

Here is a pic of the M. scabrella, from seed as well. It is about 6 mos old - maybe a bit more.

I brought it inside for the pic, and it still has bugs breeding in it's soil, I hate em!!

Thanks guys!  This is a lot of fun growing stuff.  I hope to keep adding to the garden.  Anyone have any salvia?

I tried about 15 times to get an A. colubrina specimen.  The seeds sprouted, then the black covering was carefully removed, but they just wouldn't grow out of the soil after being placed under the soil.  I did get one to grow, but from the start it appeared to be damaged, it grew very slowly, and the blackish growing points, never really got healthy.  Just when I thought it might finally make it, it died. :frown:  Maybe I'll get s'more seeds.
