Long bus I was talking about long term immunity both before and at the same time you were, but I was also able to open my mind to the possibility that a virus much deadlier than any we are used to briefly came into existence and spread by respiratory droplets. The nature of my work at that time made this relatively easy for me to do. Also gave me easy/early access to vaccine based on that virus that conferred significant immunity to it. Which is why my constant exposure to it did not result in an infection until such a time as the infectivity:virulence ratio had significantly increased- to the point where individual instances of infection matter little

I just had covid. It was a fucking joke. I never got vaccinated. If you die from covid you are probably an unhealthy person. Based on how society has been living for the past century or so, if you die from covid it is probably nature just thinning the herd. It sounds harsh but it's true. I got it and I'm still here. That means I am meant to be here.

I just got back from a three hour hike. I’m as sick as I’ve been in a long time but I’m not terribly sick. I also don’t have covid.

I wear shower sandals in the shower like they do in prison.

My crapper is in the shower. Sometimes it overflows. I mean, i bleach it when that happens, but still.

My bathroom has a drain in the floor. The bathroom is the shower, basically, is what I'm trying to say.

It stays swampy in the back around the toilet unless I mop every time I take a shower.

The kitchen is pretty bad sometimes too, tho.

Also, rodents.

Watch out for fungal growth, sick building syndrome, aspergillus aureus etc.

rodents react well to 0.005% brodifacoum, either as bait blocks or pellets. If you strategically chuck a bait block or two in every room behind a closet or so, you'll be rodent free and if a rodent should wander in, one nibble and that takes care of that.

I live trap and dump them a mile down the road. I live at the edge of the woods, tho. So there's always more where that came from.

If you really want to help, come grind the tile and cement at the back of the bathroom and install a wide grate. Right now it's just a tiny gap in one 2" tile in the wall. That's why it doesn't drain very well.

If I could get the bathroom taken care of, the rest is manageable.

As far as the toilet...at this point, I should just throw it away and get a new one.

Have you tried garden hosing a lot of hot water through your toilet, to dissolve the clots that probably narrow the pipe?

It's been like that since it was installed. I can clog all but industrial sized toilets.

I keep a mop bucket in there. If It's a really big one, I'll just fill up the bucket and dump it in. Flushes like a champ when I do that.

The problem with the toilet is the 3/8" of limescale that has built up. It looks like something out of a horror movie. I borrowed a power washer to try to knock some of it off. It did nothing.

I wore a face shield when I did that.

Just buy a new toilet and install it, it really isn't that hard
just don't over tighten the bolts and crack the porcelain. it's very easy to do...

Industrial limescale remover contains 10% HCl  (hardware store muriatic acid)

Face shield and gloves of course, but HCl tends to do away with severe limescale build up.

If the limescale is submerged, add HCl to the water, if not, cover the limescale with something porous, such as a piece of old dishwashing cloth and soak it in HCl. HCl should be 10%, not 30-37% but thats easily diluted.

HCl dissolves even solid marble, most toilets can handle it but limescale, cannot.

I have many restored tools and a few salvaged materials if someone deserving is in my immediate area, accessible to me.

I have said that alt communities should take care of eachother (within reason) and I stand by that.

Good on anyone who can sincerely help their friend in need without procrastinating.
