Well I mean I can see lots of Canadian flags. The point I'm making is that if the Nazi's were as prevalent as you said, then you'd be able to see them as easily as the Canadian flags.

Yeah true, but it's just amazing to me that the stance the government is taking is that the protest was "full" of racists and nazis. There may have been like one nazi flag which was probably taken out of context. Any nazi flag was probably just saying that's what this country is becomming, and they aren't wrong.

The real outrage here is that some fucking canadians are stealing our racist flag and claiming it as their own?! American brothers killed each other in the Civil War so we could bond over racism while we watch NASCAR, and now these canadians think they can just wave our bigoted flag around and bitch about freedom every time their buttholes get a little itchy. You’d be surprised. Truckers especially are pretty much the same everywhere. The confederate flag is a more socially acceptable way to signal your ideology than going full nazi flag. Unlike southerners tho, Canadians can’t claim it’s about heritage. We know what it is.

Quebec especially had a history of confederate sympathies, and at the end of the war, many former confederate leaders sought exile in Quebec

When I lived in Montreal there was a memorial to Stonewall Jackson right next to the The Bay. Apparently it was removed in the past 20 years or so.

wow. That is really surprising. I knew some of the nazis did that kind of thing in a few countries after WW2, but I had no idea a similar thing happened after the civil war. And in canada of all places.

I think the context of the nazi stuff is pretty clear when you look at the other stuff about the jews. These stupid bastards are still struggling with misinformation from the 1940s so it's no wonder they can't figure out how to read the fancy CDC pie charts.
