Posting good questions in here requires some trust in science and scientific organizations. If you lead with open minded questions with the apparent intention to learn, somebody usually takes the time to post a decent attempt at an answer. If you try to debunk something the CDC said because you saw something on youtube or fox news, then you get treated like a troll.

Well if we can both see that, then we're not that different.  I get where you're coming from I really do, and I want to just trust the science get the shot and move on but I dont.  I don't trust it at all.  When the science is controlled by politicians, which I believe it is, you can't blame anyone for being skeptical.  Now maybe you believe the science still has integrity and that's fine we just don't agree.

I'm trying to be objective here, this is global.  What's more important(and this is a sincere question not sarcastic) raising vaccination rate in the US a few percent or getting the shots to all these third world countries that don't have it hardly at all?

If the shot doesn't stop me from getting infected or transmitting the virus, then the only benefit for me personally, or for anyone for that matter, is that I likely won't need to take up a hospital bed.  And I'm sorry but that's just a chance I'm willing to take, if there was a waiver I could sign that I don't deserve a bed for covid I would gladly sign it.

In terms of the stability of this country and getting back to normal, getting Americans vaccinated is the most important. Thousands of Americans die everyday because they aren’t vaccinated. That needs to be our primary focus.
