It's worth pointing out that in the U.S., male soccer teams do not have world class ability. The females have been best in the world winning the last two women's world cups.

And they still get paid less than the shitty, shitty, US male soccer players.

Ain’t that some shit

Not many watch women's soccer is the problem. Female tennis players do just a good as the men because tennis fans enjoy both tours.  In fact, the men get ripped off if we were to calculate on court time vs the female on court time.

People watch soccer in the U.S.?  Why?  We already have indoor soccer and soccer-on-ice.

Professional women soccer plays get paid shit and their accomodations are also inferior. But that's a market issue. A sizable proportion of the people who pay to see American soccer are latino males, and they are shall we say a bit into the macho thing culturally.

But on the world stage the American women's team is best in the world and the men can't even get ranked.

American men would dominate soccer if they weren't busy playing football/basketball/baseball.

I'm not sure. In any case it's not going to happen because playing soccer in high school is not going to get you the girls.

Anyone else triggered by Trump Forcing GM to make ventilators?
The defense production act should not even exist IMO :crankey:

Trump is just standing by while local governments Violate our 1st amendment right to peacefully assemble, and our 2nd amendment rights.

My state forced all gun stores / outdoors / survival stores to close. While Liquor stores and Cannabis dispensaries are considered essential.
Combined with recent ammo laws that prohibit us from just ordering it online like we used to, there is now no lawful way to buy guns or ammo in California right now.

There's already a severe shortage of ventilators, and it's going to get a lot worse real soon, so I support Trump on this.

I can see your frustration with this, but to me this is a lot different.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Why would a gun store be essential. it’s a toy store for adults. :laugh2:

Sure they are. Big boy toys. Nobody actually needs a gun unless you live out in the middle of nowhere.

Trump once again looks like he knows what he's talking about.  He appears so much smarter when you don't watch out of context MSNBC clips.

Watch only the first minute.  Plus a little optional commentary after that:

Gun stores and liquor stores are doing a booming business in Illinois. Maybe people should start moving here.
