I wish the treasury would #MintTheCoin.  As long as the money went to the public, the inflation involved would actually go a long way toward correcting the wealth theft that was facilitated by Reagonomics.

I do want roads. Even people that dont use them get products from stores and live in houses made out of materials hauled on roads.
Even then the government contracts out.

Why should we eliminate a section of the economy? Maybe you cant see 'why' insurance companies found a place, but why not just give a public option and alow choice?

What do the numbers of millionaires and billionaires have to do with their right to their property? Of course there are more millionaires.

We would have to look at each billionaire. What would be bad enough to make them a bad billionaire though? I thik your premise is wrong, though

--------------

Taking is taking. Your playing a game Im not. I do think it would be nice if everyone got paid generously and it had no ill effects.
It also solves nothing to tax rich, except to give the poor the perception of fairness.
Fairness means nothing to me.
Wages have stagnated, but minimum wages and government mandates dont seem like the propper response.

I think the bailout is terrible. The people that need money dont get it, and the peopke that dont need it are getting it. Its a loan. The governmenis buying companies
Im not getting any money, so im not arguing for myself

I know most other presidents would have been more authoritarian. There isnt a choice less authoritarian than trump thiugh. Ive watched him speak and can tell from body language and his face that this is exausting. When there is a crisis some things can be forgiven, some can't.  local politicians failed this time.

Gives us time to mask and glove up for next flu season. Its going to come back, or something else. As long as Im not shamed or told I cant go in public, Im fine with it. A 10% death rate without treatment is bad.
Those numbers are nice to see

"solves nothing to tax the rich...Fairness means nothing to me"

OK, so don't tax the rich, but tax the peasants on their income, consumption and property?

Why do you find higher taxes from the very wealthy as problematic?  Why is hoarded money better than money going into the general economy?

The velocity of money is at a massive 60 year low, what would be wrong with returning to level back in the 1950-90's?  https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/M2V

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wage_share ; What is wrong with returning to labors share of output to the 1950's-80's?  https://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2017/article/estimating-the-us-labor-share.htm

Are you against policies that bring labor back to the best decades in US economic history to preserve the corrupt billionaires?

The bottom line is we didn't get here by accident. The Elite formed the conditions to piss on labor to benefit themselves. Why do you support them?

To pay the debt? No.  To pay the public.  When money is conjured via debt the banks don't mind because they can multiply the dollars by more than the rate of inflation and charge interest on it.  Corps and folks with numbered bank accounts don't mind because the they get the lion's share of the credit extended in these bailouts, usually with Gov't guarantees on the loans, etc.  Little people get shafted.  They don't get the credit or the free money.  If you mint a few coins and give the money to the public it is more inflationary but the gains go to the little people and the value for the new dollars comes directly out of the money sitting in the numbered accounts.  Essentially an instant, one-time wealth tax to redistribute the ill begotten gains of the last 40 years and maybe buy capitalism another half decade before consumers run out of money and the whole shithouse collspses

I guess the question to ask, if you don't take issue with the status quo, how low (labor share of output) do we need to go before you do?

I think we should start by simplifying tax codes and making ways around taxes non existant.

I think fairness itself isnt important. Not that it isnt good to be fair or near fair.

I think the lowest level of laboror gets too much attention because most people are loosers like me. Its alot of angry votes that want $15 an hour.

Capitalism isnt going to fail. The idea violates the property of the wealthy and gives the poor temporary money.
Whoever gets it. Its all very arbitrary
I know foodstamps is good and makes more back than it costs. What trump has dlne with that is bad. Objectively

Revolutionary ideas often have unintended consequences. That seems revolutionary

its an interesting idea, though. Very interesting

No, revolutionary was when we, as a nation, enacted trickle-down economic policies that decoupled wages from productivity.  That has had serious consequences and they weren't unintended.  It is the very definition of class warfare and the upper class has been winning like crazy for 40 years.  You think that allowing labor an increase in pay equivalent to their increased production is revolutionary?  Just wait.  Another decade of Reaganism and you might see some real shit.

Trickle down economics is a leftist created term. It was created by democrats.
There are kainsian and Friedman economics. TDE was a term to mischaracterize economic facts. All of these aleftie ideas rely on the assumption that the wealthy are bad and the government would or could manage their wealth more efficiently.
They have more capital they can hire more people and expand. It isnt perfect, but no economic system is

I don't know what country you're talking about. The cutoff for the top 1% in the U.S. is just under $719,000.

Both of those graphs show a depressing picture. To me the second one looks more accurate. You can see the big drop offs under Reagan and W.

Outright false. IT was created by republicans because their previous term "Horse and Sparrow" economics, was too on the nose.

By the way, "horse ans Sparrow" refers to the horse getting more food, which means they shit more, and the sparrows get to dig through a larger portion of shit as a result for their food.

The term was coined by Will Rogers to criticize Herbert Hoover's policies after the market crash.
