Well I understand you guys totally, but you know in a community we can't just please some people, we have to do our best to make it enjoyable for all.

Not to say it won't be re-instated into a pop up only for OTD, if the tech admins know a way to do it without spending too much effort. Me thinks goatse icons are probably a little low on the 'to do list'

In the real world, do you walk into a family dinner and tell hand out pictures of goatse?

Censorship seems to take on a 'new' meaning on the internet. I hear this all the time, dude you can't tell us what to post and not what to post... ITS CENSORSHIP!! 

Ok, if you feel this way why don't you walk around in real life with pictures of goatsee on a t-shirt, or walk around the mall yelling 'nigger' as you do online.. (this is a general comment, not directed to you)

The answer is simple, you 'get away' with it here, not in real life... I don't see people running to city hall asking councelors to stop the censorship of the word nigger, or begging that we allow everyone to enjoy pictures of gaping assholes

I mean who are we kidding, the internet allows more freedom and personal expression than anything we've EVER seen.

Yet people get mad because they think everyone should either agree with them or do as they say.. Both are dangerous ways of thinking IMO.

Life is about understanding those around you, knowing them and knowing what is appropriate makes you a better person.

I say fuck censorship, but come on there are limits. What about streakers in public, are they being censored too?

Its all perspective, and online people seem to lose this perspective that we have in real life.
