Amazonians and casing
    #2646922 - 05/06/04 06:13 PM (19 years, 11 months ago)

My Alphabits soup spelled this out to me this morning. Maybe I shouldn't have eaten that datura beforehand:

I was recently wondering if Mateas Romero, Amazonian, and PF Classic are, as I've come to learn, the same strain. I, trying to be a resourceful board member, searched and came up with this thread. I noticed that it had been alluded to that while they were the same strain, Amazonian may be slightly different. To cut to the chase, do Amazonians indeed have the same trouble with casing that PF Classics are rumored to have? I'm thinking on a straight verm casing, at the moment.

odd, i know some one with an amazonian casing on finch seed cased with strait verm... its not pinning yet and its been a while,it had a strong overlay and it was patched and deepscratched and still nothing. i never heard of it being trouble before but its kind of relieving to know that it may not be entirely his fault.

I think I'll stick to just jars, then.

I know a guy who has used them just fine.

This same person also found the strain of a cube is not important, especially with all the other factors involved.
