Childish fantasies well into adulthood
    #26179074 -

As a kid I was in love with the idea of becoming a vampire. I wasn't a weirdo kid. I didn't revolve my whole life around it. I was "normal" with a simple fantasy... Living forever, being able to fly, and look like Brad Pitt.

Skip ahead 25 years later and here I am imagining that someone is watching me from a distance and will soon approach me with a life changing offer.

You wanna be a vampire, mothafucka!?

What about you guys? Is there something you secretly never grew out of? A fantasy? A habbit you had as a kid? What about a hope or dream?

All that's crossing my mind currently is the dad from step Brothers. All he ever wanted from life is to be a Trex.

I had a major ghostly experience. Something shattered my oven glass and there's no logical explanation.

As a little kid I always thought mad scientists were really cool, I wanted to like invent a weird formula and drink it and turn into Mr. Hyde or something

And then I sorta forgot about it as a teen, then I ended up actually becoming a chemist. At the end of school I realized I was creating horrible, useless, toxic poisons and most jobs I got would be as a glorified chef. Except instead of delicious and nutritious food it was death I was making and testing.

So essentially what I'm saying is, don't follow your dreams because they just might come true :lolsy:

That's funny, my neighbor and friend growing up wanted to be a vampire.

I didn't grow up with a lot of TV, mostly books.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be the Ultimate Warrior.

As a kid I enjoyed the He-Man cartoon quite a bit.

Flash forward to last december.

I was very high on MXE, I was in a hypnotic trance and astral projected.

HIGH.

My Spirit Guide gave me a gift, he before my eyes transformed my body into He-Man in full gear, the body shape appeared to genuinely transform and be solid, the chest harness could be seen and felt.

It was the most amazing thing ever.

He egged me on to do the "I Have The Power!" routine with my sword

As a tongue in cheek joke he didnt transform me into cartoon He-Man but into the action figure. My skin was plastic and had the flaws of a 1980s action figure.

He left me in that state for the rest of the night and so I was tripping with eyes closed and when I opened them... Yup, still action figure He-Man

It was so surreal, completely lovely.

He told me after the fact that he used hypnotic techniques to achieve this illusory transformation, just like stage hypnotists turn people into cats, who appear to themselves as cats, and start meowing.

I am forever grateful for that feat of hypnotic illusion, it was so awesome. As a kid, loving the cartoon, I used to say "He-Man, that's Me Man!", and in hypnotic illusion my spirit guide facilitated that.

It looked and felt completely real! Now thats a serious fucking victory for Fantasia!
