ID - dry mushrooms Melbourne
    #26097521 -

Hi,

After my first hunt in a Melbourne forest was unsuccessful (Galerina and a few other species), I have acquired some dried mushrooms that are said to be subs.
My friend has had them and had a wonderful experience, but through my research and inquisition
I am reluctant to sample.

I post this for some clarification that it is okay to be safe when it comes to the world of mushrooms. I do not want to ingest a galerina or something similar. I would also like some help identifying dry mushrooms.
Thanks in advance.

Habitat:
Unsure

Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.

Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Spore print color:
Did not complete.

Other information:

They look like subs, I can see blue bruising. However, identifying dried mushrooms is that much more difficult at least for me and you're best to wait for a Trusted Identifier to be certain.

they look like dried subaeruginosa to me, but as always wait for TI and know that dried are more difficult to give confident answers most times.
