Icaros wilting

Why is it wrinkling and leaning over? I've had it 5 days. I put them in cactus potting soil and haven't watered them yet. I leave them outside during day and bring in at night. I live in South West Ohio. What can I do for them. Looks like the macro is starting to do it to

If you've only had it for 5 days it might be working on developing roots; I'd keep it in a mildly shady place for a few weeks while it hopefully sorts itself out. Also I don't know what kind of cactus soil your local stores have but a lot of the ones I've tried are pretty bad and could use a lot of extra grit like pumice (perlite works too but is kind of messy)

The wrinkling is because it´s loosing moisture, it should go away with time.
Is it a cutting without roots when you got it or did it have roots?

If it does not have roots you should not water it as it cant suck up the moisture.
Then you must wait until it has developed roots, dont put it in a very sunny place.

If it has roots you can water them and the wrinkles will go away.
I would use a soil not as compact as yours look.
Just mix in gravel, perlite, leca or something else to make water easily pour through the soil.

It take a while for a cutting to get roots and start growing, but it will do it just wait.

They already had roots. So it's safe to water. Good. thanks guys. I was getting scared for my new babies.
