I wanna be a foster mother

Yep - I'm pretty sure I figured out how to stop being lonely and do a good deed. hehe - of course I'm not going to foster a human child... but I am going to foster a family of cats. :smile:  I mean, it works out real well for me because I can't have anything too permanent right now but I would love to help out and have some companions. hehe. Anyone ever do this before? I'm just worried that I'll really miss them.

My mom does this all the time - she works for the Humane Society in Michigan where I used to live. It almost always ends up with her keeping the cat or dog for good :grin: just beware - they grow on you!

well my friend's mom works very closely with the humane society by me so i'm gonna try and talk to her about this. i used to visit the shelters on a regular basis however because i've moved - they are further away from me to be able to go to all the time. :frown:

lol i also am adopting a turkey. but he won't be living with me.

I can send an email to my mom asking her about procedures that need to be followed, and so on... not sure if it is the same everywhere, but I can get a run-down for you on how things work in Michigan... I'll post her response when she writes back.
