ID Request - Melbourne, Eastern Suburbs

#26041141 - 06/09/19 04:37 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Habitat: Found growing in moss with lots of shrubbery around (leaves, bark), some near logs, long grass.

Gills: Gills appear to be coffee brown, I think they're adnexed.

Stem: varying as in pictures from 1cm to 2.5cm long, 0.5cm in diameter or smaller. Can be moist when pinched to see bruising. Some appeared to have blue bruising even before being pinched.

Cap: Diameter approximately 1cm to 2.5cm depending on caps (as in pictures). Tan brown to a darker golden-y brown in coloured. Smooth on top. Sort of umbonate, convex shape.

Spore print color: after about 1 hour so far, the spore prints are still light in colour, have attached a photo of one - seems to be dark brown/purpley.

Bruising: Blue-ish bruising at edges of caps and on stems.

You should start your own post, rather than hijacking somebody else's, although they do appear to be psilocybe subaeruginosa
