Pills have these things called binders. Like if a tablet of clonazepam has 1mg of clonazepam in it, but weighs 0.004G

like ... You generally need a decent quantity of a substance to get a worthwhile amount of freebase. Goes for anything.

Because you would have to extract the salt, clean and crystallize it, then eulogy solvents and based to separate out the alkaloids from salt... May as well just use the original non-standard without smoking it.

Ask someone how to do something mushroom related on the shroomery and you get your hand held with step by step process including how to locally source all materials. Ask a chem question on shroomery and get met with nothing but pretentiousness and "lol do your own research" answers or deliberately complex jargon (because they know you dont know school taught chem) or dead ends. I have seen it repeatedly

I'm grouchy because it's garbage day and I'm doing housework.

I kinda picture people with questions that I personally don't think are anything but Commonly known ways of doing things, I mentally associate it with a younger asker. Probably because it's the internet and I am from a different time. I don't always step back and critically look at the fact that I have a large amount of drug related information that the common non drug need would not know, because I'm not normal.

Hey man I get too snappy sometimes. Why am I even explaining myself... Well I like you, so that's probably why.

I've been fed UTFSE for years, so it's more like an encouragement to do independent experiment.

So you want to turn oxycodone powder into a smoke-able wax

The fact that you have pure powder Oxy and not just crushed-up tablets is strange considering that you don't seem to know much about chemistry. I assume you purchased it from somebody and did not extract the oxy yourself. I hope you aren't planning on selling this smoke-able oxy. And if it's for personal use then I would suggest not smoking it, as oxy is addictive enough as it is in pill-form. You will be doing yourself (or anyone you might sell it to) a disservice by smoking it

Anyway, to answer your question, most equipment that you find in a chemistry lab is available for sale online. And many pieces of equipment used in chem labs can be replaced with instruments used in a kitchen. So it might be possible to get a lot of the basic stuff in places like Target

As for the techniques, some of the things you listed, like re-crystallization of a salt, are taught in undergrad Chem lab courses. You can find hundreds of lab books/manuals online. The jargon in these books will be difficult to understand if you don't have a chemistry background, but chem textbooks are cheap and easy to find. I strongly recommend studying chemistry before trying to pull off any home-brewed chemistry lab techniques. You can get yourself, or somebody else, hurt if you don't know what you're doing or WHY you're doing it

I don't know much of anything about oxycodone, other than it's a popular painkiller and opioid. I don't know if you can smoke it or not. But what makes some chemicals "smoke-able" and others not, could be that the molecule degrades at high temperatures, or that your body cannot readily absorb the molecule through the lungs
