SONY CDR's

I went out and bought 50 Sony CDR's and not one of the damn things worked!  I burned two of them with no problem and then on the 3rd the entire program froze and the the burner wouldn't kick out the CD.  We had to restart just to get the thing out.  Then I tried playing the first two that burned the player just read error.  WORTHLESS!
Luckily they are warrantied but still what a pain in the arse.  I had to use Memorex because they didn't have anything else in the town I was in  :shiftyeyes:.

Yeah I stay away from Sonys. Japanese made Fujis are my preference not to be confused with the ones made in Taiwan.

I have a spindle of TDK's, I like them alot to, I used to use Fuji's(not sure wehre from) a couple years ago, all of them still work perfectly to  :laugh:

Yeah TDKs are a trustworthy brand too.

What speed were you burning at, and what is the max speed the CDs can burn at? I doubt the problem had anything to do with the brand of the CDs.

LOL, dude I've burned thousands of CD's never had this problem, I was burning at 24x, then tried 20x finally down to the slowest 16.. it still fucked up. I know what I'm doing and so did the other 3 or 4 guys who thought I was fucking it up on my own and couldn't figure it out.

Max speed on those was ridicously high and I didn't come near it, I can't remember off hand but they are burried in my trunk and I'm not going after them.. Trust me it was the CD's, you could attempt the sony's and they entire program would freeze.. everything set up the same put in a different brand and it worked perfectly.
