Your relationship with Yourself * 2
    #25986365 -

Hows the relationship with yourself? Do you consider that a relationship or is it just an understanding of who you are?

Do you love yourself?

I consider it the most important relationship in the world. Consequently, it's also the most difficult to maintain.

However when you've got it on point you're damn near untouchable in this world.

I do love myself. I first learned to do so one night in October 2015.

It's probably the most important realisation of my life.

2C-T-7, loneliness and a full length mirror.

Plus years of reading and meditation.

The tools that got me there.

--------------------
Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

Thats awesome. Having a health relationship with the person in the mirror is definitely an important thing. Must accept who you are to evolve as a person.

What sorts of readings did u do in order to reconnect with yourself?

Working on it. Nick Burrin touches on it in his first book.

If you ever talk to him or watch one of his talks you'll hear him say to put a picture of yourself in your room so it's the first think you see when you wake up. Eventually you start to like who you see.

Generally though anyone who has a picture of themselves in their room will be seen as a narcissist, so just keep that in mind if you decide to do so. I think that would be weird and Id never hang a pic of myself up in my room.

I am my best friend. I perceive world trough me, my eyes and my experience.

I see my self in others and I judge humanity as I judge my self.

Yes, I love my self and I am comfortable with me.

But I is such fluid thing, ever changing, twisting, adapting. All my life I am being me but that me is not same me that once was.

Me.

I do love myself more than ever now. I do not love some of the choices I made in the past, but I have come to deal with them and mostly let them go. Sometimes it comes up to fuck with me and try to get me in a negative thought, but I push it down after analyzing it again (and again). The thoughts of self hating myself about those bad choices become less and less over the years. I still play "what if" though, seems to be pretty pervasive at times. I do think that if I had chosen any differently in any situation I WAS in, I would not be here where I am right now with the people I am with/chose to be with. One slightly different decision and my entire life would be different.

my self is one of my few relationships.

i'm starting to meet more people around my area, though.

weird thing, i never had this happen to me before, but this car with a couple girls beeped behind me, as i was having a walk-about and were in sync waving at me, slowly & eerily smiling, as they passed. i don't know them- so that was funny. people apparently see my walk-abouts, or so i'm told.

I don't like myself.
I remember being a toddler and hating myself and my life. I used to dream and daydream about having other peoples lives and other people living my life.

I always hated looking at a mirror, my last house didn't have any. Even more disturbing, years ago i stopped recognizing myself at the mirror and started saying my father face.

Sometimes, to relax from those feelings, i like to think that there is no me, that ego is an illusion and the reality i know is irrelevant.

But i am trapped in me. So i try to play my cards the best i can and to find in helping, caring and being loyal a reason to be.

I love the part of me that would do anything for a friend and that takes care of my little fella.

Edit: I don't want to sound depressed or to be attention-whoring. Just wanted to show my different, maybe negative approach to oneself

Always wanted. I don't know where to get it.
It is recomended to take it while with derealization?

Yea that should be fine imo, if you can't manage to find any ket then dxm is much easier to acquire. Doesn't work nearly as well but it most def has antidepressant/anxiolytic effects.

The main benefit K would have over dex is less lingering after effects/hangover, so that could be a possible risk with derealization/depersonalization, etc.

Ha that's funny. They were unknowingly creeping you out. So these walk-abouts, do you deep think during them? Or do you like to just walk around?

Living_failure, Im sorry you feel that way. Its a shitty way to live life and to have those thoughts. Wish I could help but that's a personal journey to figure out.

I enjoy and respect myself. I find myself amusing at times and am sometimes extremely impressed by myself, although 99% of the time being impressed by myself is retrospective. When I look at things ive done, or things ive created I always feel like my best work is behind me, but somehow I still continue to improve. I have been given a lot in life and being loved and prioritized makes my life feel valuable and impels me to set high standards for myself. I have been dealt a very favorable hand in terms of the quality of who, what, when, where and how that led to me being me. Things in my life tend to go as planned or better than planned and I like being me.

I don't really know. It's an interesting question. I've been struggling with how to answer it.

I guess I just don't really think about things that way. Sometimes I try to motivate myself, other times I think a lot about stuff I regret, or I try to change myself for the better, etc. but I don't think I'd call it a relationship exactly. I just have a hard time thinking about it in those terms because I am myself, so it all feels kindof circular.

If anything, I'm probably pretty hard on myself, always pushing myself to do more and better, and feeling bad when I can't live up to my own desires and expectations. I have a lot of regret, but also a lot of pride about certain things, and lots of happy memories. I'm fairly happy overall. I wish I could accomplish more and work harder, but who doesn't?

I feel like this isn't a very satisfying answer, but it's a weirdly difficult question for me for some reason.
