Dull....One Dimensional....Lackluster





I've only dabbled with it a couple dozen times or so over the years....Mostly small amounts, and a couple times larger amounts in an attempt to "hole" or just to see what a large dose is like.

I find it nice at festivals in the morning when I finally come back to camp after a long night, a lil bump or two is a nice way to simmer down and mellow out at camp with friends after a night of getting weird....But I really do not understand why there is such a huge attraction towards this drug for some folks, especially in some "party scenes". It is absolutely not a drug I would take to "party" at a festival like so many do, but it is nice at the end of the night at sunrise to chill out and get some sleep.

The times I've taken a larger amount, trying to "hole" or seeing what larger doses are like in general...It just leaves me incapacitated, nothing interesting happens, my mind is blank/dull and I'm in a vaguely dreamy headspace and that's about it...but nothing interesting happens, I just become incapacitated and fall into a tranquil/blank headspace.

It sorta has a warm and cozy feel to it and can mellow out anxious feels...it has its place and time, but it just doesn't do much for me and I do not find it to be an interesting drug like the classic psychedelics.




*EDIT*.....But I do experience a very pronounced anti-depressant effect from K. It's amazing how big of a "re-set" it can give me in the ways of depression/anxiety/mood, even if the experience itself is very lackluster for me.

I've tried MXE only twice before in relatively mild dosage, and I enjoyed it waaaaaay more so than K. It had much more "depth" to its effects, it had a lot more going on and was far more interesting of an experience for me...A lot more euphoria, an empathetic aspect that was quite reminiscent of MDMA, seemed to have somewhat of a "psychedelic" aspect along with the dissociation...I really wish I could have dabbled with this one some more when it was around. It is kinda bitter-sweet that I got to try it only those two times, I'm glad I got to but now I know what I missed out on lol.

In some ways I even like DXM more so than K.


With that said, I'm not a huge fan of dissociatives in general...I've only dabbled with those three dissociatives a few dozen times in total over the years....I do like nitrous oxide paired with psychedelics though :grin: , mucho mucho :yesnod: .

Ketamine is great sometimes - and should be lauded for its physical safety - but it's oft the tamest, shortest lasting, and least potent of the dissociatives, more or less.

Yeah, i have respect for D.M. Turner.  Another unfortunate ketamine related death was that ov Marcia Moore, who was alleged(murder is a possibility in this case) to have froze to death whilst kurrenting outside.  Her remains were'nt found until 2 years after her disappearance.

Yeah i'd like to come to the gathering and meet you as well.  Not the best time in my life right now but i'll try to make it.
