Home Depot oyster mushroom grow kits

Yo. I found these oyster grow kits at Home Depot. They were the last two left I showed to worker one was already colonizing  the box cuz it’s been there so long. She sold them both to me for 5$!
This is what they looked like when I opened it. Haha
I’m gonna soak it and fruit it out. Thought it would be a nice project for my little sisters to check out
Not only that. I can also clone any cool clusters.and keep a culture from it.
I’m hoping to get a flush from these dry mofukas
Currently have a few wild oyster clones colonizing at the moment 
Just wanna expand my collection.
Anyways thought I’d share.

That kit was my second every oyster culture and I had some pretty great success from it. Not sure why your kit had a hole In the bag though, definitely not supposed to come like that.

God damn. I took it out the box and it had some moldy oysters. So I threw the fruits in the fire.
And I’m pretty sure they grew out the filter on the.bag. I’m cutting the top away and fruiting it from the top. I’m trying to get all the dry mushroom growth off it. So it doesn’t get rotten.
