I haven't been playing music lately but I want to get back to playing guitar more seriously.

What are some interesting lessons or exercises for dexterity you like?

One I do sometimes for finger dexterity is use my fretting hand and hit my thumb with each finger as fast as I can for as long as I can, also I try and practice different patterns like 1 3 2 4 or 1 4 2 3, good way to practice your finger dexterity even when not playing.

Then on the guitar I practice whatever I am weakest at, currently it's switching chords quickly. So I repeat a chord starting on the lowest or highest string to the other side, then reverse it and go back. Good way to speed up your finger movements.

Not sure of any good guitar extruction vids offhand but you can definitely find tons on youtube.
