Xanax script.

A friend of a friend just got one of these. He's on the lowest dose I believe. How does he convince his doctor of refills. Also what about upping the dose?

jesus dude, you have to have 'im having a heart attack take me to the ER' panic attacks to get xanax. psychs dont usually give them out.

i wouldn't fuck with it either, multiple week long withdrawals, etc. possibly leading to dementia as well as Alzheimers or some shit.

Some doctors are just dumb. I knew a girl who was prescribed 150 x 1mg pills a month, she would keep 50 for herself and flip the rest.

The withdrawals are enough to make me never want to take them again.. Also forgetting whole days isn't a good feeling either.. Stay away from them xanz !

WOW chill on the xanex hating. if you take daily dose 50 morning 50 evening your fine. it's when people start going crazy and taking whole 4 tabs 3 times a day n shit. xanex was alot of help when i was having full grand mal seizures. but don't go crazy on it.

Thats 1mg a day and enough to build a tolerance and want/need to take more.


It definitely has its benefits but long term use is not good.

In my country, doctors give away benzos by the bucketloads. Feeling a bit stressed at work? Here's a life time supply of xanax. High blood pressure? Get addicted to oxazepam. Can't fall asleep for almost an hour after going to bed? Don't worry, 20 mg of valium a day will sort that right out. You don't even have to go to a psychiatrist to get most of them. And they are basically free, I don't know if you have to pay for meds in USA if you have a script. And they are just an automated phone call away.
You can't even flip them here because everyone can get them for free.

Seriously, stay away from benzos. I know they feel great, for a bit, but the withdrawals can be horrific. You want me to send you a video of my psychotic rage after a 3 day xanax binge? You'll immediately flush away your script and all the pills you have left.
Believe me, I've never been full on addicted, but I've been taking them on and off for the last 6 or 7 years. Tried to stay clean many times, but that's extremely difficult since they are so easily accessible.

scripts in the US cost money and last time I checked a xanax bar (2mg) is $5 a pop.

I get 60 5mg diazepam pills or 60 0.25mg xanax for about $1.50 in pharmacy fees.

Yeah, that's how it starts, just for emergencies. I also thought I can do that, now I can't have them in the house without taking them every day.
Sorry, I can't help your friend with advice. If you lived where I live, you could just say, "I'm feeling a bit stressed", and you'd get a refillable script, no suspicion or red flags at all.

I had a xanax prescription and all I had to do was tell my doctor I needed a higher dose or have the pharmacy request a refill and he gave me more.

My doc has known me for years though, so he probably trusted me that I legitimately needed a higher dose, which I did, and wouldn't abuse them, which I didn't.


I never found xanax to be enjoyable. Turned me emotionless. It helped me cope greatly with a very hard time in my life but definitely not enjoyable. Coming off it suuuuuuuuuuuuuucked too.

I've never experienced this memory loss everyone keeps talking about. :shrug: And I often mixed both xanax and valium with alcohol, but have never taken more than 2 mg of xanax in a session. And I do have blackouts on alcohol more often than others. But on benzos, never.

In my experience: 2mg will make the day foggy, anything over 4mg and I start forgetting shit.. I used to take 4-8mg a day, but mot of the time would mix with codeine... that probably has something todo with the memory loss. My longterm memory is BAD now, like really bad.

Just tell your friend to not abuse them but make it seem like they are helping if he wants more... Remember most docs these days won't prescribe them long term, so if your getting them at all take advantage and finesse the doc.

Just to be clear my advice is still stay away from them. Lol good luck.

The threshold for blackout for me is between 3mg and 4mg with no tolerance.
