Life brings new ideas. Old ways are hard to let go and new Truths always hit hard.

I just realized that I'm looking for work in the entirely wrong field. My talents are so far flung and stretched that I've been tying myself down to a particular place when I need to let my eagle talent soar and find a place that is a true home for my skills. Looking for work is always tough, and there's opportunity everywhere. It's is all about finding the job that you love. Not that you hate. To find a place to work where you can be who you are meant to be.

This is a tall order, one that I think I am capable of, and I have set out to venture to find it, Lord willing, my purpose will come to me.


I've always thought I knew what I knew, but then it all broke down, the walls around me.

Everything I thought I knew was taken away for a moment, and lay bare before me. Like
I knew I could build them again, instantly...




I heard this song and it just reminded me I was not alone in this quest.



I'm off to follow my new dreams, though, for sure.

Life is so short and I know that eternity is long. So I WILL NOT lay down and be a slave.

I WILL NOT lay down and be a mindless drone. I WILL NOT follow the same old crap .

I WILL Join the thought group of community and growth, and healing.



A new idea was presented to me. Hence the word a present, a gift.

Better be happy in the mean time.


Live while the living is good, and there's still some of the world left to see!

Yeah, we spend a lot of our time at work so you should have a job that you love and is fulfilling in some way. Or a job that makes you a lot of money so you can retire early and enjoy life later.

I wouldn't say that I love my job. I picked it for job security, middle class wage, adventure, and because I can listen to what I want and wear what I want while I work. Eventually I saved enough money to start my own business and now I do love my job, well most of it anyways. I work as much or as little as I want and choose my own wage,

Always be happy or work for something that will make you happy!

What is your dream job/life fiery?

What is your dream job/life fiery?


It is as a farm engineer. On the ground , in the soil. in the woodlands, in the earth.

Working to improve soil embankments and prevent erosion and netting of the rivers to prevent runoff into the ocean.

But my dream job is one in that feels the sun on it's face, and revolves around apiculture.

Howdy Fiery. Came across your post and thought I would throw in my 2 pennies. For the longest time I thought I could only find happiness if I was working outdoors, getting dirty, breathing the fresh air etc. (NOT a bad goal to aspire to by ANY means!). But life pushed me in a different direction. Loved ones got sick, loved ones died. During this unpleasant seriesw of experiences, I discovered that some of these healthcare pro's (doctors, nurses, caretakers etc.) were top-notch human beings, and some of them were total assholes.

I also realized that 90% of them were no smarter than I was. So I went back to school and got a degree in _____ (sometimes you gotta be anonymous). Helping people who are sick and/or dying changed my life. And the money certainly doesn't hurt. School was murder but I got through it and graduated at the top of my class, and within the top 3% nationwide (of the people who sat before the 'boards' for exams.

If someone told me I would be doing this 20 years ago, I would have kicked 'em in the balls. I wish you all the best in your personal adventure. -Just thought I would give you my story. Good luck friend.:happyheart:

Thanks for the kind regards. Yup! Parents, friends and lovers lost = one BIG ouch! But we go on. Maybe life in this material world isn't supposed to be EZ Sqeezy in the first place? All we can do is keep on keepin' on. I can think of 1/2 a dozen corny ways to exit this post, but I will spare you! Ah, what the hell -Peace! lol. :happyheart:
