Definitely this. When all is well it may seem like it's fine and it's tempting to share at times but you never know when things may turn sour. The last thing you want to be is another person with a story of how their misplaced trust landed them in the can.

I made the mistake of telling somebody I had some weed growing on my property once (a close friend) and ended up over hearing him talking about my plants at a party a few weeks later with some random dude I didn't know . Fortunately I didn't end up in legal trouble but that's the type of shit you need to consider. You trust that one person and then they tell people they trust, whom you may not know or trust yourself, then you find yourself in a tight spot.
