try playing tribes for the ps2 and then try playing it for the computer...you will see.

you know something is up when consoles have to help you aim and shit. None of that with a computer...if your off by a centimeter your off my a god damn centimeter :smile:

i like playing on consoles generally myself...but i just cant do it if its any of the gametypes i mentioned above.

tribes 2 was ok...it was a disgrace tot he tribes name really. But its been fixed pretty well with the classic mod.

Tribes 1 was way better. Even tho the one for the ps2 was based on t2 it will give you an idea about how limited you are when confined to a controller. I use almost my whole keyboard for the game.

the learning curve is pretty high with the tribes games but that where the fun is. You can learn pretty fast but you will never master it.

i jsut dont see whats so hard with a mouse....the screen moves with the mouse...it cant get any easier.

im still trying to think of a good anology
