Brazilian Ganoderma?

I am on a trip around South America and found this mushroom in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on an apparently heathy tree. It looks like a Ganoderma to me, but I have zero clue what species it could be, nor even what characteristics I should be looking for to truly identify it. I couldn’t find any information on identifying tropical Ganoderma, so any help would be really great. This biome is the Atlantic Rainforest, that covers all the coast.

Looks like it to me.

Edit: I should have also said that it looks like a laccate ganoderma species.
