Ease my Anxiety ??

I met this guy a few weeks ago and we really hit it off. We connect so well and have a lot in common. We have been hanging out a lot and he's told me countless times that he likes me and is glad he met me.

He got me a piece of outdoor gear for christmas that retails for $80 and also has given me other outdoor gear of his that he wanted me to have/he didnt need anymore.

He invites me to do a lot of things with him like just hang out, go climb or get food and beer. We also had sex a week after meeting and hanging out a lot and we sat at his house and did MDMA together.

Now he left for 2ish weeks to visit his family in another state and do some outdoor stuff. I have really bad abandonment issues (obviously havent brought any of this up to him and have been acting chill) but I am worried he will decide he doesn't want to hang out with me anymore or that this will just be a fling. I really enjoy him as a friend and more though.
My question is, do you think he sees me more than just a hookup or short term thing since he has given me so much and been so generous to me?

I should add that I'm also plant sitting for him while he's gone and he gave me a key and garage door opener. He told me that his roommate will need the opener eventually (his roommate is gone for a few months right now) but didn't say anything about giving the key back.

He also has made plans with me for multiple trips when he gets back. Going camping, climbing, etc...

Rationally I see that he likes me and doesn't just see me as a short term thing but my anxiety and lack of self confidence has me worried sick that he'll get back and no longer want to spend time with me.

Sounds like the start of a beautiful relationship to me.

He must trust and like you a lot, there is no way I would give someone I met only a few weeks ago my house key.

And he's making plans and wants to hang out all the time.... sounds like he's sweet on you.  :heart:
