Bump for vinyl. The format no one actually needs, but seem to want. After all my shit talking, I am starting a 7" collection and here is the first one I bought.

Oh nice..! 7inches are fun :naughty: Elvis is great. the store down the street does like 20 7" records for $10 of whatever is in their pile (typically unknown random independent records) and it is always fun to give them a spin.

Picked up a few records lately but my favorite is probably this Nils Frahm album I picked up for $12 the other day.

(My bad for the crooked photo)

Double LP with really cool packaging and even cooler music.

I seriously thought this may be a fetish thread from the title. I have some old records. I also have the computer converter/player to download them. I will do that soon, maybe throw a vinyl party while listening/ downloading them.

Relax, don't do it, when you want to, go do it
Relax, don't do it, when you want to cum
Relax, don't do it, when you want to suck, do it
Relax, don't do it, when you want to cum
Cum
But shoot it in the right direction
Make makin' it your intention
Live those dreams
Scheme those schemes
Gotta hit me
Hit me (Hit me)
Hit me with those laser beams

They actually played that on the radio. In the mid 80s. And now I’m gay

That’s what they’re saying. The original video for the song wasn’t allowed on MTV.

My son was trying to sing this song after hearing it on the radio, but he seems to have inherited my ability to discern lyrics.  So he was singing “run like a naked baby, run run run run”.  Lol

Vinyl is a lot of hype, and people have a nostalgia for it, I get it.

I've noticed it becoming very popular with the crowd that was born long after there would be any chance of nostalgia. Its definitely in right now.

I have 6 boxes of vinyl, 4 (hard house techno trance etc) are holing up my snake, the other 2 (mostly drum & bass)  i have a tapestry over with my stereo on, but no decks, they're long gone :frown: though i have shown some love to a few artists that recently put out 1st ever vinyls and are picture discs, one isn't though and ive not even heard it but it will not fail to impress im sure when i get round to getting a player.

got a tone of rips though from good sources  cant beat the sound of it! but i feel gutted the player the was in our home and my fathers, (as is the stereo i mentioned) got sold....i could of really made use of that and shared rips on places i sue to snatch, but for some reason dint care at the time
