Hello my lovlies!
Happy morning to you all!
I’m feeling surprisingly joyous today!

Just ate my breakfast, and enjoying a nice joint.

My wife was having a crumby day yesterday so I took her out on a date last night,
Melting Pot for dinner then we went and saw them new Harry Potter.

But I got me thinking...
She works most days then comes home to make dinner most nights after working all day because I’m a piece of shit and refuse to learn to cook.
This needs to change.

She didn’t say anything about it to me, but the more I think about it the more pissed off I am at my self.
I mean, she absolutly loves to cook so she never really has a problem with it, but I just feel bad.

So...
I’ve decided I’m going to try to learn to cook! :grin:
I wanna surprise her with dinner when she comes home today!
Not sure what to make, something I can’t easily fuck up.
But not pasta, pasta is boring.

do french toast! make sure to only dip the bread for a second if you are using regular bread.

bonus points for being spontanious by having breakfast food in the evening.

I hate cooking generally but I'll absolutely do it for someone I care about. I've had some absolutely cracking results from following recipes though.

Slow cooked meats are great to start as there's not a huge amount of work. Stews are amazing.

I'm living another day in Phil Collins proverbial paradise.

I’ve always dreamt of living in a port city back when sea trade was fun and exciting.
Just chillin in dockside taverns listening to grand stories of the sea.
If that were the case I’d probably eat fish, crab cakes and the such.

But alas I live in this boring emotionless age and in land locked Colorado.

eggs are delicious and healthy at least your not vegan, cheese is delicious too

can vegans drink alcohol its yeast piss, im drinking a coffee with too much orange and brandy in it for it to be delicious

Eggs are one of the best food sources ever IMO. I eat a minimum of four a day.

Can't wait until I have chickens and a constant supply!

Sea-Wolf is great, I’ve read pretty much everything of London’s.

I haven’t however read Cook’s journals, I’ll take a read through, I love my history.

Me too. He's my second favourite author after Orwell.

Le sigh,

What’s up fam.

Just been working on some world building today.
Ironing out maps, climate zones and trade routes, both modern and old.
Working on creating religions and cultures and mapping out how they’ve disseminated over the ages.
Plotting out the great wars of history, why they were fought, and what the outcome ment for the world.
And I’ve been building family trees, their names, what they mean, and what secrets they hold.

This is my favorite part of writing.
Occasionally as I write I’m forced to go back and rewrite the whole history of the world to fit my needs.
That’s real power.

im not that creative I just watched some dumb sitcoms and shitposted on reddit, I dont even like drinking that much I feel pretty sober now,just waiting for dinner,might eat a bite before dinner I like to get 1500-2000 calories a day, since october 16th ive been doing it in one sitting or two sittings an hour or so apart
