Those are actually two separate cakes that flushed at the same time. Was very fun to watch them all take their own place and form.

Although it seems to be a  rather obsolete method, i used a SGFC, with 3 inches of perilite, cased in straight verm. I gave them very healthy mistings and progressively tapered the amount of mist as the mushrooms started to grow. NO “fanning” was used just mist and let them do their thing.
