Vince Welnick is Touring...

with a band called Terrapin Flyer. Anyone ever heard them? I'm wondering if it's worth going to or not. It'll be in walking distance from where I live so maybe I should check it out. Vince is my least favorite Dead keyboardist but still it may bo cool to see what he's up to these days musically.

So I saw Vince play on 4/20. It was really good except there were only like 30 or 40 poeple in the audience. He opened with a few solo songs. He started with the Beatle's cover I'm only Sleeping, which was great. His band was pretty good. They did almost all Dead songs. They played a lot of rain songs because it was rained all day. They played Rain, a kick ass Samba in the Rain that I just had to dance to and they even did Looks Like Rain. My memory is a little hazy about what songs they played but I'm glad I got a chance to see Vince.
