Hey all, I’m just very early stages of mushroom hunting. Could I ask for any wisdom as to what these may be? Found yesterday after a lot of rain in Sydney. Thanks a lot

Pics in profile are panaeolus foenisecii/cinctulus, gotta print them for species. Second pic is some sort of amanita

Second is possibly some sort of leucoagaricus or parasol, maybe an amanita.

First looks pan foe/subs like above poster said.

The mushrooms in your gallery - 1st one I would agree looks like Panaeolus species; 2nd one I would disagree with Amanita or leucoagaricus, and it looks too small to be a Parasol, I would say Lepiota sp., possibly toxic.

If you print the pans and they have a SHARPIE black print then you'll have active panaeolus cinctulus, if its brown them its non active foenisecii.

Sharpie is a brand of permament marker that has a dark black ink color.

Thanks! I’ll get some more detailed info and better photos on the next hunt.. It’s amazing how many mushrooms are around once you start looking a little.
