Identification help please?

Hey guys I found a mushroom today with a purple-black spore print, but I cant seem to find out what it is. Well see I found it in my backyard where there is a patch of cow manure. Unfortunately my dad threw the mushroom at my garage to make it shatter to entertain my little sister. I managed to gather the pieces.. 4 total.

So I live in Northeaster PA. Before it was picked from the ground the cap was a soft brown with a reddish tint. The gills were black-purple. Now after its been picked (and shattered...) its dark brown with black-purple CROWDED gills. The stem is wite wit a tan color in the middle and it has a ring. It bruises blue. And like i said it was found in a patch of old cow manure. The picture is the mushroom cap in three pieces :frown: and the stem. Id super-appreciate if anyone can identify it. Thanks guys!

Well after looking at many pics of Stropharia rugosoannulata I cant really confirm thats what it is. All the pics i've seen (about 30) I can only really say one out of the thirty pics actually looks like mine did. It does meet the characteristics of Stropharia rugosoannulata so Im not saying your wrong, I just need some more opinions. Thanks for replying

How many more threads with the same Stropharia rugosoannulata are you going to post? This pisses me off, because you have no clue about mushrooms and at least 4 or 5 very experienced mushroom hunters have told you that they are wine caps. I know exactly why you ignore that. Because you are waiting for someone to tell you that they are magic. Won't happen.

Here's a tip. Find out which psilocybin mushrooms grow in your area first. When you find something that clearly resembles one of those, come back with your ID request.
