Roughly 1.8k feet altitude, New Hampshire, Hillside (see photo)


Gills:
Brown, attached, (see photos)

Stem:
Le photos

Cap:
See photos

Spore print color:
Brown to dark brown (see photo)


Bruising:
Haven't noticed any yet...

According to Paul Stamets Psilocybin of the World they grow in Vermont (which I border) and they are temperate to the cold climate.

At least I can dye some yarn :grin:

Also according to Paul Stamets, active mushrooms of the genus Psilocybe bruise blue and have purple-brown to purple-black spore prints.

Edible foragecast for 10/15 burlington vt probably find many of these in your area along with others like some agaricus/enoki/etc.

Just because someone successfully cultivated them outdoors does not mean they occur naturally out there.  There is a difference, and it can send you on a wild goose chase.
