I mean, I'm not versed in HEGAA's and what is needed to spray them onto crops. Maybe if someone has more expertise they could chime in. But I pictured it being done akin to crop dusting, which we are already doing quickly on a large scale...so this kind of sounds like bullshit. Although the part about reaching specific tissues makes sense.

But, what I think is much more likely, is both sides are right. Insect Allies is exactly what it says it is, but the Pentagon knows that if Insect Allies can complete its work, that will be all the foundation it needs to weaponize this technology in-house.

The chemo will mess you up from what I hear.

Drugs are chems.  My dog is a feel good but not strictly chem.

They say drugs are anything you ingest that is chemical other than 'food'.  So cleaning supply vapors and residues could be a 'drug'.

When it comes down to it, it's about utility.  So much of addiction, has lost it's utility.  Then it's time to pay the piper sooner or later, with detox or disease.

are you basically saying that addicts lose their ability to be useful? Cause, its obviously so much more complicated than that. Some people are just dependent on their meds. Like say antidepressants. Or if you have to take an anticonvulsant, or even just cbd oil. If you have to take it you have to take it.

But i dont really get what this has to do with actual addiction/dependence

They don't really believe in dependence in mental health.  They try to remove what we are attached to and get us on legal meds.  I know I'm dependent on sleep and drugs that induce sleep.  So I try to stay on a schedule.

I don't think addicts are useless.  But there's gotta be some growth from using.  If there is no growth then there is only decay and that's pretty easy to give up on and pursue.

I suppose it has a lot to do with what we chose to protect and and the lengths we go to do that.

I'm damn addicted to my dog and I get hooked on a woman.  I get addicted to my shopping list and my town.

well, morel guy, to me that goes back to simple "get busy living or get busy dying". Gotta do one of the two

I feel one of the worst things when it comes to this idea is depression, actually, it stops people from "getting busy living", or "choose life" or however you wanna look at it. I guess this is a perfect use for mushrooms
