You are correct. Show your neighbor so he can remove them in the future.

No they’re not, looks like Leucoagaricus. Amanita phalloides usually have olive greenish caps, a sac like vulva, and, sorry they do have rings. Edited and fixed.

Oh, I thought death cap was the name of Amanita virosa. That species get a ring of veil remnants , but this species only occurs in Europe. I don't know where OP is located.

But yeah, could very well be a white Leucoagaricus. Looks like it doesn't have a volva. My bad.

Amanita virosa is a synonym for the destorying angel (European version) I believe. I'd say Leucoagaricus makes sense due to no visible vulva and the ring being more of an actual ring shaped rather than the skirt rings amanitas have. Leucoagaricus leucothites?

Yes, you're right, or even if you have pets. If you don't know what it is, it's best if you don't let them get to it. That one could easily have been a Destroying angel, I don't think it is, but you were right to question it.

I'm wary of anything that could be in  the death cap family. The ring doesn't look defined enough but better safe than sorry

Is that a volva though?

Spore print would help confirm if it's Amanita

It wouldn't though, because both have white spore prints. What distinguishes them best is the texture of the stipe which is smooth and silky in Leucoagaricus, and rough and flaky in Amanita virosa, and the veil, which points upward in Leucoagaricus, and hangs low down in Amanita. OP's mushrooms are definitely Leucoagaricus leucothites.

This is a mixed collection,  you do have some destroying Angels, they are the white ones top left with the bulbous stem base, the others are russula, lactifluus piperatus (maybe), coprinellus or coprinus and a few I can't tell. Death angel is Amanita phalloides, you don't have it, Destroying Angels cover several species of white Amanita.

Expand the picture and look at the annulus Doc, those are Leucoagaricus.

I believe you, it blurs to much when I zoom in, I'll look again when I get to my brother's house and can use his big screen
