I like ibuprophen. I have 500 mg naproxen pills and they don't do much for me.

Ibuprofen seems to work well for me. Or maybe ketorolac and etodolac.

I got Aspirin w/ codeine on vacation in Mexico once.  That was the ticket :thumbup:

naproxen and ibuprofen are both good ones, aspirin doesn't do shit for me, neither does acetaminophen seem to. and fuck the liver toxicity with the latter. not useful enough a drug to warrant being so hard on your body.

for certain types of pain naproxen is a better painkiller than any opiate.

Yea, Naproxen Sodium is my thing too. Has been for over a decade.

Treats pain for me better than anything else. Prescribed or otherwise.
And no side effects whatsoever.

Ibuprofen makes my skin feel like it's melting off in the sun. :mad:

I used to take naproxen almost daily until my nephrologist saw in my blood tests that it was causing major decrease in kidney function.

My gastroenterologist years ago advised me against taking acetaminophen what with my cirrhotic liver and all.

Aspirin fucks with my stomach, smoking anything aggravates my COPD.

I was advised against daily use of Celecoxib ( I forget why ) even though I was prescribed to take it daily.:confused:

I am prescribed a topical cream with Ketoprofen, Diclofenac, Dimethyl sulfoxide in a lidocaine 5% ointment
for pain relief with my arthritis, fucked up knees or damaged rotator cuffs.

If I'm really uncomfortable I often just lay down and take a nap.
I can fall sleep at the drop of a hat these days.

you're really not supposed to take any of those things daily/consistently 


very few people should actually be taking aspirin daily for heart health, and even that is only because bleeding ulcers are marginally better than major or repeating minor heart attacks
