How often do you wear sunscreen?

I've just started appliying sunscreen every morning after I shower. I'm out side a lot in summer and the sun does kill people every year.

My aunt has been doing this for decades. She's 60 and she looks nothing over 45.

I decided to wear the highest protection I could find. Zinc based sunscreen for babies with like 60+ protection.

I as wondering if this is a thing or not. Did I hope early or late on the sunscreen wagon?

Do you wear suncreen regularly?

Anytime I'm not already extremely tan and I'll be decently exposed I use it.  Even if I am darker in complexion if the exposure will be too long ill wear it.  I never burn.  I've been sunburned like 4 times in my life.

yah dewd I think most people wear like a light SPF moisturizing sunscreen especially on the face.
here's the one I use pat it has a nice masculine scent with is really had to find surprisingly. most them seem like they're made for women or like the beach or something idfk:facepalm: the only other one I found to be as good is the neutrogena mens triple protect face lotion broad spectrum SPF 20

I don't either. Only when im at the beach, just because i hate getting sunburned. but i keep a farmers tan.

Yeah, probably. I used to live in Florida and almost none of the locals that worked outside would put on sunscreen. It can't be good to load your skin with that many chemicals everyday either

Ive seen some older people (like 40s) in panama city beach that work on the beach and look made of leather :lol:

Nah 60+ is far too strong, that shit is nasty. Usually the sunscreen of 20-30 strenght feels a lot better and is applied easier.
I think its important to use one because the sun of the last decade has been vicious.
Im not very white but it takes me less than 15 minutes to get burned.
Thats not good.
Makes you wrinkly like an old fruit.

But sun is also healthy and makes you feel good and is needed fir some vitamines synthesis.
And you want your body to at least adapt a little which it cant with 60+
That means you kinda depend on it while with 20 or 30 you still get a slight tan and you dont die when you firgot to put it on once.

I don't use it anymore. I HATE the smell of sunscreen.

I'm just careful outside until I tan a little.

My state has very intense sun year round, i try to wear sun screen if I know i'll be outside for a while

I never ever use sun screen. I lived in Arizona and was exposed to hellish sunlight every day. I have less than 10 moles / freckles on my entire body.

Theres some studies that show that people who get melanoma and skin cancers are the ones who rarely get sun light and then get blasted with it on occasion.

Farmers who get blasted with sunlight since childhood don't have increased risk because they're acclimated to the radiation

That's very interesting. Constant exposure is safer than bursts of exposure. It kinda makes sense tolerance wise.

As a Canadian, it's 7 months with barely any sun and then 3 with the sun and 2 with intense sun. We must be especially susceptible to melanoma.
