I am making some money.  I've been investing in VTI and QQQ since my parents transferred the money over in 2004.  I'm up to about 400k in investments.

I bought a few hundred shares of Bank of America stock a couple of years ago. When it was at it's lowest. Or close to it, anyway.

It was going for like $9 a share at the time.

Last time I checked a few days ago it was up at $32 a share.

Never invest in one company.  Invest in (ETFs)Exchange Traded Funds or Mutual Funds.  Get a brokerage like Vanguard.

Invest in VTI and QQQ and just sit on it as an investment.  If you want quick returns, I'm not the person to talk to.

It's musical chairs man, no one knows. Volitility is still ultra low thou, so probably good for at least another week.

The approximate cost of the economic stimulus package was estimated to be $787 billion at the time of passage, later revised to $831 billion between 2009 and 2019.

It is no wonder that stocks are up - a shitpile of "money" was injected. Not to say I don't try to benefit from this, but I suspect it's really just a hedge against prices that will likely rise significantly in the years to come.

Just a speculation of course.
