You didn't know, any discrepancy with blacks in the criminal justice system is based in bigotry, that's why BLM and the NFL players ignore police misconduct against whites.

They are different issues.  Police misconduct in general is one issue.  Police racism leading to racially motivated misconduct is another issue.  Just because someone wants to protest the latter doesn't mean that he/she has to protest the former.  It also doesn't stop you from protesting either or both.

I'm not denying that cops might prejudge people based on their race, sex, sexuality, age, social-economic status and geographical location.

You do realize the cops themselves also vary in age, sex, sexuality, race, religion and social-economic status?

We have diverse law enforcement departments and diverse populations, why make it a black and white issue?

Police misconduct isn't an racial issue, the more people push in this direction the more it divides people on the whole issue.

If cops prejudge every scenario and person, what would make race any different when it comes to potential misconduct?  It wouldn't.

Race is no more of an issue than gender, sexuality, age, social-economic status and geographical location when it comes to police misconduct.
