He asked for a location so he can check it out.  Why dodge the question?

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Why do you prejudge others based on their sex, race, social-economic status or age?

I dont, or at least actively try to mitigate doing so. I dont amplify it by building a political ethos around it.

So your prejudges are better than mine because you say so, no self-righteousness around here.

Why cant you ever argue the point being made? I know youre smart enough to comprehend it...

The point is I acknowledge the problems regarding being prejudicial in regards to race or gender, I dont write it off as an inevitably, or even worse, pretend its a virtue.

Our only hope is to let the capitalists plummet our standard of living to that of Pakistan. Then the Muslims wont wanna come here. And we win!

Sure, our life expectancy will cut in half and our poverty will double, but at least we wont have to smell falafel or press 1 for english.

You just acknowledged the existence of "no-go zones" and now you want me to offer proof?

They are characterised, as Bubbles does, as zones where white British people cannot go because they are "colonised" and so white people will be attacked. That is just factually incorrect. I've gone to places that I've heard as so called no-go zones and its just nonsense. I can go where I like.

Why can't you give me a single location of one of these immigrant-colonised no-go zones?

Quote:
"your prejudice towards them"
Everyone prejudges groups of people with common characteristics, yourself included.

True, but you let those prejudices steer you way more than one should. If one always acts on prejudice then you aren't dealing with the real world.

Change your record because no one has said that prejudice doesn't happen with all people.

"set immigration policy to be along class lines"
Many others nations do it, it's not a bad idea in my opinion. Also, my Polish ancestors were not wealthy when the came to the US, but again they had jobs waiting and used no social services because it didn't even exist.  There's a huge distinction between the role of government today relative to 100 years ago.

What if your ancestors were rejected because they didn't make the minimum income bracket? Where would you be now?

Do you think this would be a good idea to apply to refugees too? Only the rich ones?

"give me a single location"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No-go_area

"you let those prejudges steer you"

Oh really, how so?

"What if your ancestors were rejected?"

The US had no moral or ethical obligation to have my ancestors to come to the US, they wanted the cheap labor for that moment in time and nothing more.

"apply to refugees too"

Genuine refugees are different than economic migrants, some people are confused about this fact.

Still arguing over whether no go zones exist or not? They clearly do, the fact that tipote says they do not exist shows that he isn't really interested in having a discussion or learning about the subject matter, as you can easily find tons of evidence if no go zones with a simple google or youtube search. This has become radical lefties trolling because they know they have no argument at this point, the migration is clearly negative, muslims are clearly causing violence and rapes and trying to take over christian countries, and the growing popularity of nationalist groups are clearly a direct responce to both that and the rise of the socialist EU, which are clearly connected.

yeah all this evidence and none provided! You must be very easily trolled if you think me asking people to back up their claims is trolling. Sounds like you are on the wrong subforum.

Youve given me a list of places in Europe that people have said are no-go zones. That doesn't make them no-go zones. All accounts are very clearly disputed (as noted by wikipedia) and poverty and community alienation seem to be more significant than race or religion as the cause.

Well at least you posted wikipedia, I honestly expected the gatestone institute.

You talk like they are legitimate, justified and that its just natural to act upon them. Whereas I think a lot of us here are arguing that, yes everyone makes prejudgements, but letting them dominate your actions towards people you don't know is wrong.

You say things like: 'well everyone is prejudice' when we are talking about how prejudice manifests in creating obstacles to people's development. That brushes off the actual judgements, unfairly given, that affect peoples life chances.

Hey guy, fuck you, why don't you go to those no go zones and check for yourself if you don't believe it,  or you could just watch one of the videos on youtube where people do that same thing and get physically and verbally assaulted until they run away.

I can understand when people flame because of another poster's incessant use of logical fallacies.

But flaming someone because they wont entertain your fallacies? That is some refreshing shit right there.

Yes, there are problems of being inaccurate with our prejudgments regarding "race or gender", that's why our minds are constantly readjusting depending on the circumstances.

Sometimes our prejudgments are incredibly accurate, that's why our brains are wired for statistical commonsense.

Yeah, maybe I should also watch Britain First propaganda with their out-of-context videos that pretend to expose something they aren't.

I've been to a few places in the UK and France that I'm told are no-go but never had a problem, I've spoken to people who also experienced the same lack of problem. Thats part of the reason why I don't believe the narrative.

Provide evidence or go back to the pub.

We've already discussed fear and its irrationality.

If your brain was wired for statistical commonsense youd be railing against police officers and vending machines, rather than immigrants.
