If they are so intelligent in Europe, then why are they having so many problems in the news right now? What with the immigration crisis I am speaking about specifically.

That's kind what the EU is.

There really isn't that much of a language barrier. English is spoken by many Europeans, some countries like the Netherlands, English is nearly universally spoken.

This is exactly it.  Deutsch sounds more like “Dutch” than “German”, so they’re called Pennsylvania Dutch, which is based on that misunderstanding.  Having grown up here, I’ve met a few older folks who speak PA Dutch, and it’s pretty interesting.  They say it’s closer to the German that German people were speaking in the 1700s than the modern German today is.  Which makes sense; German on the European continent has evolved like any language with millions of native speakers does over the centuries, but small populations of isolated speakers tend to preserve the language in a certain way, leaving it relatively unchanged over time.  Some PA Dutch food is pretty dank too.

Yes. There was an immigration crisis. How is that europe'a fault? It certainly has become Europe's problem to cleanup a mess that Americans are mostly responsible for creating.f

A cabal of super rich and powerful people who are American, almost none of the average people in America wanted libya or yemen or Syria and the ones who wanted Afghanistan and Iraq were lied to and tricked. But besides that most of the "refugees" are really economic migrants from north african nations who heard that you get free money and food and a place to stay and there are sexy blond women everywhere. They are 80% males between the age of 25-35 I might add, fleeing their countries and leaving their women and old folks to fight the terrorists or just to be poor.

A majority of the refugees are from three countries: Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Neither Yemen or Libya are in the top 30 countries of origin.

66% are male.

That is not true, the majority now are from places like nigeria, Libya, tunisia, eritrea, and the ivory coast.

In fact, the more recent figures paint a slightly different picture than what you seem to believe. Syria and Afghanistan are still in the top-3, but their numbers are declining rapidly. Pretty horrible, if you ask me. The vast majority (>>90%) are victims of human trafficking and abused economically and physically on a regular basis. They are, for all intents and purposes, involuntary sex slaves of well-organized and ruthless criminals. There's nothing romantic or charming about window prostitution in The Netherlands. It's an entirely sick and disgusting industry at this point. A far cry from how it used to be until the mid-1980s, which is the period when the 'niceties' all ended, edged on by the heroin epidemic that brought the industry to its knees (haha) with drastic price erosion. At present, the window prostitutes in The Netherlands are virtually never actually Dutch, but mostly Eastern European or African women, many of whom were lured into the country with the promises of domestic jobs, their passports taken from them upon entering the country and forced to prostitute themselves and give the proceeds to their criminal 'owners'.
Sorry to break your bubble. Going to a window prostitute in Amsterdam is supporting a criminal network that routinely destroys the lives of thousands of women.

But the numbers of Nigerians is also down from the previous two years. They may be in the top three but only because other group levels are declining faster

That's certainly true; the numbers have dropped drastically across the board. We notice it "on the ground" as well in organizations that have been dealing with the influx, they are currently downsizing.

Try Hungary if you want to see a refugee situation :wink: Or Germany.
As to the Van Gogh museum: be there at 10 am when the queues are still manageable. Don't try to get in on Saturday or Sunday afternoon, you'll be waiting over an hour to get in and will have to shove aside masses of tiny Chinese to get a glimpse of your favorite sunflowers.

I love the Netherlands when I went it was hot and dry but I like the rain anyway only place in Europe I'd actually want to live.
