the PAL forum makes me angry

i try to stay out of there for that reason.

it isn't the posters there that make me angry either.

like i said, i usually stay out of there, but i stopped by for a while tonight and read some of the threads. now my face is flushed, my body temp is escalating, and my pulse is racing. damn, i can even see my pulse in the arch of my foot and feel it in my reddened ear lobes.

it's sad when you can't even visit your favorite site without george and his monkey crew indirectly fucking up your night.

i feel like marching straight to the D.C. and doing some serious ass-kicking. :mad2:

I tend to be selective about which threads I hit in there.
Some people make some decent points on various sides of various issues, but some of the people are real meatheads.
Plus --- the mere mention of the Chimp always seems to be attached to something bad.

I've heard persuasive arguments for not watching the news. This is why.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Yeah, I feel like that too.  Its the same feeling I get when I watch Fox news, or for that matter, any news station.  Sometimes, I'll purposely turn on the TV to get myself riled...there's sort of a rush involved, heh.  :smile:
