Yay!  I'm seeing that tomorrow!  I've been waiting months for this movie!!!

I don't think I'd erase bad memories.  If you only remember good things, what's the point to living?  You need to remember bad experiences, I think.

Deleting bad memories, while a good plot for a movie, is like what the schools are doing to the kids today.  You know, not letting them play dodge ball because they might get hurt, or not allowing scores to be kept for team sports and such so nobody 'loses'.  It's total crap!  I loved dodge ball!

I've seen him play dramatically/melancholically serious in this one movie where he was the brother of someone who was gay and when the family found out all types of shit happened... really depressive movie. I miss the old Jim Carrey though... I was such a fan of him I sent him a fan mail when I was a kid and got a picture of him back... with his autograph! ...probably signed by his fan club administrators though...
I cant wait till dumb&dumber and dumberer comes to Norway!

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. - Confucius

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Confucius: I think this is how some of life's most valuable lessons are gleaned.
Emerson: how would we do this w/out the memory of pain.

I would definitely not erase the memory of any of my "bad experiences." I think the overall upshot is that they have made me a better and stronger person. Also, they have made it possible for me to come closer to an understanding of what others are going through when they are having troubles. W/out, I think, a person would be suffering from some serious delusions of grandeur.

I think the whole movies going to center around the problems w/ erasing all of someones bad memories, god I hope they do it intellegently, it looks like a good movie and to be honest i really like jim carey, but robin williams and tom hanks via for my two fav. actors.

Jim Carrey is definitely a comedic actor who can pull off a serious role (e.g., The Truman Show). I look forward to this movie, but I still have to see Kill Bill (maybe in the dollar theatres at this point) and The Passion of The Christ. I hope that the latter is as good as The Last Temptation is.

well, look at man on the moon.. another.. partially serious role by carrey.. not to mention the majestic

i seriously love just the title of this movie alone though.. it has such a sound to it--
from what i've seen and heard aswell, it looks like it's definately going to be a really interesting movie..
it doesn't seem to really have a category though ( actually, it's probably in the romance category somewhere.. or a romantic comedy? though it's not really a comedy.. )

i can't wait till it hits theatres

Dude I hate to tell you but me and everyone I know whos seen Kill Bill all agree that it sucks... A LOT!! There really isn't anything that even remotely resembels a plot, nothing but violence, not that I don't love my violence, but the movie really is retarded, there's no substance to it, atleast you're only wasting a dollar, go ahead and see it, maybe you'll really like it but I really tried to like because I like teranetino(sp?) movies alot but this one really sucked the big one IMHO

That is disappointing. Do you think it could have been intended as a comedy? I've heard there's some ridiculous, funny shit in it.

it's called a revenge flick :P
EVERYONE i know who's seen kill bill absolutely loved it (especially the sound track)
so.. that doesn't really credit for anything

sometimes you need to appreciate things just for their simplicity
i mean.. look at anime.. there's a lot of violence in it.. but it also provides background for characters, which adds depth--this film was basically a live action anime/comic book--thats what the story is about.. i mean hell, it even left the story on a cliffhanger

hey shaggy- I wouldn't want to erase a ill gotten past relationship, why? becuase we are made and manipulated by our enviroment and the paths we have chosen to take.
Everything that we have gone through makes us a little stronger, and less nieve or stupid. you can either wither away from self loathing and self doubt- or empower yourself to be an even better kick ass individual ( yes I am human and love hurts just like that song)Carpe diem!live your life.

I always thought breakups were the worst hardest fucking thing and I never would get over them> until getting married and havin a kid, I know now that raising a child and a husband and keeping everything together that IS the hardest thing, a breakup is easy!

fuck I don't mean to sound preachy, but it is easy to get caught up in circumstances- I bet you somewhere millions of peopl around the world are contemplating their circumstances, there are always worse circumstances! -peace mush
